Roethlisberger suffered the injury when playing against the Dolphins. If he recovers relatively quickly, he’ll probably miss 6 weeks. We’ve seen players take longer to recovery to only time will tell how long the 34-year-old QB will cover.
The good thing is Roethlisberger will be sitting out starting next week leaving his team on the top of the AFC North. Who will the Steelers turn to to supplement for Roethlisberger? Well Landry Jones literally played for one series when Roethlisberger left the field with the injury. Roethlisberger returned to finish the second half. Before going in to their bye, the Steelers will face a scary Patriots squad.
