Woods says Alcohol was not Involved in Arrest
After multiple reports of his DUI arrest early Monday morning, Tiger Woods says alcohol was not involved.
“I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications,” Tiger Woods said. “I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.”
The report says the blew a 0.00 on the breathalyzer.
Woods was arrested by Jupiter police around three in the morning. His 2015 Mercedez was found on the side of the road with his turn signal blinking. Police found Woods asleep at the wheel. Despite Woods slurring his words, Jupiter Police said he was cooperative. Woods wanted to note his cooperation as well.
“I fully cooperated with law enforcement, and I would like to personally thank the representatives of the Jupiter Police Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office for their professionalism,” Woods said in the statement
